Bull Fight Festival In Bangladesh

Bull Fight is

Traditional Festivity in Bangladesh. During Winter Season After harvest they  Arrange  bull fight festivity.  Everyone Preparing their bulls for  bull fight Festival. Last night Before festival day some owner of bulls bring the witch doctor  they used candle, oil, egg, rice ,water and glass  for bulls good   luck   and  maintaining their status. They do  staff at night because they don’t allowed to take bull outside at daylight because they think this increased the bulls status. In Festival day everyone is walking on the  way of  festival ground where bull fights going to be organized. Group of People are coming to the festival ground by making sound of tam-tam  .Its was held in Netrokona, Megaloy North east of Bangladesh. Bulls are Different size and color. Some bulls wear some dresses. Over 100 bulls participate in the bull fight festival. Fighting Ground where bulls are fight its call thola. Also Monkey’s are brought to make people more entertain and group of people  come to ground with stick. They called them Stick fighter. Stick figher was founded by landlord. They came here to warm up the ground. 

Bull fight festive was following by over 1 million years from our ancient  Civilization . Its was traditionally  celebrate in Netrokona from 50 years ago. After while Stick fighter  start to stick fight to each other to warm up the ground. In Bull Fight competition there also some reward for winner . First prize of the Bull fight competition is Television and Second Prize is Goat. Bull Fight community was arrange by bulls owner. There is a man who announce everything  about  bulls team  and list of bulls Fighting  schedule . All the Visitor Sit together Roundly outside of the thola . At same time several fights happened .Bulls are Separated in four category group.1^st group is called strong group. Somehow Dog participate , Somehow it enter around but it have no place to out. Bull fight started people  all around are  so much excited  Black one attack Red one . they are both pushing back each other . Red become so angry it attacking the black one. Now next match began Two black bull on the ground they attacking each other. Sometimes Bull become Horrible they become anger then run out from ground and it try to attack  the people around it. It cause many accident at a times any accident can happened many times. Another fight began Several one pulling back to other on. They are biting each other with their horns. Several run out and it lost the game. After Winning the fight Winning  group shout and turmoil. Owner of losing team become unconscious because he lost his status for losing the game and winning team got more status by winning the bull fight game .Some owner Scatter paddy seeds on Bulls body for good luck. After while middle size 30 - 40 size bulls fight began. After Winning fight  bull price Increased. Bulls  are entering like a  wearing Fabric necklace . Price of this red bull is 70000tk. After meanwhile A man arrive by riding a horse  to warm up the ground and make  more fun .More bulls are coming and people are waiting for more fun. Interesting Part in the fight is bull movement which is depend on owner team movement around the bull. Bull owner make sound and  move on place to another place to give bull instruction. To give instruction they make some sound of word which make bull sprit more powerful . Final Fight  began everyone was so much excited . Final fight count down began  black one spotted by Samiti . Both one fighting equally everyone  was so much excited every so much curious which one going to be win, But black one wins in short time People burst into joy.  Then the price giving ceremony began, Winning team got the 1^st price television. After Finishing the Bull Fight festivity everyone Return their home .
